Seeking Contributions to Hidden Gems

December 10, 2021
Hidden Gems is a new initiative at the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library to highlight the depth and diversity of its holdings while at the same time showcasing current research being undertaken by Yale students, faculty and other scholars. We are looking for short pieces of approximately 500 to 750 words that discuss what is unique or intriguing about a given item in the collection. If you have worked closely with materials at the Beinecke and are interested in sharing your knowledge and insights with others, please consider proposing an article for inclusion in the series. Studies of collection items from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds are welcome.

This series is overseen by Raymond Clemens, Curator of Early Books and Manuscripts, and edited by Carson Koepke, a PhD candidate in Medieval Studies. If you are interested in proposing a topic for an article or have questions, please write to Carson Koepke at carson.koepke@yale.edu and Ray Clemens at raymond.clemens@yale.edu.
