Larissa Tsukamoto wins Janice Carlisle Prize

We are delighted to announce that Medieval Studies PhD candidate Larissa Tsukamoto has been awarded the Janice Carlisle Prize for Excellence in Teaching by the English Department!

Larissa, whose research focuses on the theory and practice of music as a medical treatment in the ancient and medieval Mediterranean and Near East, this year taught two English 114 seminars on “Magic, Shamanism, and Medicine.” Congratulations on this accomplishment!
